About The Opening
A Media Account Executive will spearhead the efforts in Knox County to build relationships with businesses and organizations in order to sell a wide array of multimedia ads, content, and sponsorships. Help local businesses/organizations become a spotlight and thrive. The ideal candidate will have ties to the Knox County community but also expand sales techniques in parts of Delaware, Licking, Franklin, and Morrow counties as well.
Responsibilities in this role:
- Secure sales meetings with prospective clients and lead them through the sales process seamlessly.
- Utilize a multifaceted networking approach to generate call lists and leads.
- Follow up on inbound leads initiated by various incoming sources.
- Become a brand advocate and expert in the different media kit options offered.
- Be both educated and intuitive in understanding the personal and most effective approach for each client.
- Generate proposals, maintain communication, and generate reporting for clients.
- Understand and apply both StoryBrand Framework and Sandler Sales Methodologies.
- Commitment to professional development.
3-5 Years Experience
- Three years of media sales experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Technologically savvy - ability to navigate and learn new systems.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proactive mindset with a customer focus.
- Ability to travel to North Central Ohio areas that the organization serves.
