The Ashland County Historical Society played host its second annual Pumpkin Glow event Saturday at the former Children's Home on Center Street.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event was a drive-through format. Visitors drove through the grounds to view Halloween decorations and decorated booths from local businesses. Visitors also viewed jack-o-lanterns, performances by Ashland University cheerleaders and received trick-or-treat bags and giveaways.

Ashland Mayor Matt Miller was among those giving away candy at the event.

* Thoughts from Spherion- not included in the original article. The Spherion Mid Ohio Station handed out hundreds of pre-packaged candies and treats to those in attendance. Our staff had great time carving the S-P-H-E-R-I-O-N  pumpkins in preparation for the event and getting a chance to connect with the community.
